Rich Internet Applications

Rich internet applications provide functionality as fully-featured as a desktop application, but through the web. Rather than basing interaction on forms, hyperlinks, and waiting for a page to refresh, RIAs immerse the user in a highly interactive, media-rich environment. Interaction is instant, and allows actions like dragging and dropping elements on a page. Our applications are typically driven by and based around a database, and may integrate with other client information systems. Applications we have developed include elearning tools, business dashboards, graphing and reporting tools, and ecommerce applications. While we use a variety of tools, we are big fans of Flex, a development framework by Adobe.
